What does MediaPsyched mean?  It’s a play on media psychology, an emerging field focused on the effects - good and bad - of different forms of media.

But Psyched? Read these 2 definitions of “to psych” and you’ll see that media can either result in a positive or a negative:

• v. tr. to put in the right psychological frame of mind
• v. intr. to become confused or mentally deranged
